Trauma

During our Bible Study today, one mother shared to us that she was scared during the strong earthquake occurred, and each time she moved, she felt that her whole house moved too, even when she laid down on her bed, or wherever she went, it seemed that there would always be earthquake following her. As I listened to her, I truly felt pity on her because she is four months pregnant and she already has trauma. And she has been so scared each time she felt the after shocked everytime and then, and according to her, she wanted to hide somewhere so that she couldn’t feel that her house moves. I pretty sure that she is not the only one has that fear, there would be lots of people in our town who felt the same. Like the children of one of the mothers at school, shared that her children, ages 2, 4 & years old were very scared during the earthquake, and her children don’t want to lost their mother, in fact, they don’t want to go to the toilet alone, they always wanted their mother to go with them, and they don’t even play themselves without the presence of their mother. Yes, those time, it was not a good. But, I am so thankful to God that non of my siblings were experienced trauma. Thank you Lord.

Well, back to our Bible Study today, we studied the passage from Psalm 121, while I was sharing, I could see the smile on her face, knowing that our Living God would always there to help for their children, and He never feels slumber nor asleep in watching His beloved children.

Before, we ended our BS, I prayed for her and I also prayed for all the women who have always been attending on our weekly Bible Study at school. I know that only God could comfort us in times of big trouble, specially the unexpected earthquake.  One thing that I have been so thankful to God, because He moves on HIS own ways during our BS, and I have always been praying and looking forward that these women would fully understand the real meaning in life and they would come out of their shells and fully commit themselves to the Lordship of our Loving God.
