Group Singing Contest

Last month, we celebrated the mission month emphasis, and we divided into six groups, and every Sunday, each group has assigned to handle the worship, etc. And we also invited different speakers, particularly, the missionaries who have been serving the Lord, here and abroad, and I had a chanced to preach on one of the Sundays, too.

Speaking of groupings, I was also assigned to a group, I led my cell group. And during the culmination, we had contest such as porter making contest, and group singing contest.  Blissfully, for the singing contest, my group got the second place. Anyway, our main focused was to glorify God in everything we did. And during our practiced, we had great time together, liked we’d laughed a lot each time, we couldn’t strike the correct tune or note. Well, they actually laughed at me because I couldn’t really strike the correct tune, especially I couldn’t really get on how to listening to the accompaniment. Cool! Lol. When they laughed at me, I also laughed out loud because I truly know my capacity in singing.  Guess what? Good I stood up in between to the persons who would really be able to sing well so that I could really listen to them, so that I could get the right tune, and above all, I would not be struggling from catching the minus one because I could follow the persons next to me. Smiles… Thank God for my group who really understand me, who could not really sing well, and who’s not gifted in singing too, though, I truly love singing most of the time, and admittedly, that most of the time too, I couldn’t really strike the right tune. Cool! Huh, too much blah, blah, blah here, so I stop now!
Here's our group, happily singing during the group singing contest, we sung two songs, "Grace Alone, and Everywhere I go" both songs had truly ministered into my heart. Great songs,  and great message. Oh, by the way, this coming December 18, we'll be celebrating Christmas and we will be having a caroling contest, and I'll be handling the same group. All the best to my group, we will do all our best for God's glory and honor.
