And the purpose of this monthly gathering now is lightly the same with ours before. But this would be mainly to nurture or strengthen the spiritual and emotional needs of the youths in the church. And also, they would be more eager to learn and know more about God- in other words, this gathering is more on discipleship or mentoring.
And the youth pastor invited me to be their lecturer/speaker on their coming event, this coming Friday, and she told me the topic that I would be lecturing about, would this be, Why We Find Partners? As soon as the youth pastor told me this topic, my mind would really think what I should be using as passage that it has so relevant with the topic. And I began to pray and pray and pray-and I received none yet. Until yesterday, out of the slipped of my tongue, I told our lady youth pastor, that I’ve still praying and praying what I should be speaking/lecturing on Friday night, and our invited speaker yesterday was listening to me while I was telling the youth pastor, and our invited speaker immediately, told me, stop praying, but you should sit and listen and God will give you something because you have prayed for it already. Wow! BIG SHOT! With that statement, I was very encouraged and happily obeyed what the pastor told me. So, last night, I sat and read my Bible, and I did the same today, and God brought me to the good passage in Genesis 24 which I would be using as the Biblical Scripture of my lecture. And while reading and making outlines today in the parsonage my heart smiles a lot at how God provided a Partner for Isaac and how his father desired where to find his son’s wife. My prayer is that God will use me for HIS glory and honor. And youths would understand how important to wait upon God’s will and perfect time and the most important tool in finding life time partner.
