Dinner Fellowship

May 30, I was invited to attend the dinner with a cause by CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship). The dinner would start at 6 in the evening, and before 6 pm, the heavy rained poured out, but gladly, I left home before the heavy rain poured out and I was on my way to the venue riding on the tricycle.

When I arrived at the venue, the staff of CEF came to meet me at the entrance with great smile. And when I came in, I saw my old church mate and many of my old friends too.

The program went smoothly, there were two teenagers who shared their personal testimonies and while listening to them, I recalled my teenage years. Coolness!

Well, enough about myself; let is go back to the dinner fellowship that I attended. Of course, every gathering of God children it would be complete if without HIS servant to share God’s word.

One insight that keep repeating in my mind when the preacher shared about the needs of the children, he stated that when a child/children cried or showing their very bad moods, they surely need some attentions. And some throw things to really get our attention. While listening to the speaker, I thought of my two nieces who are both three years old plus because they exactly act what the speaker had described. (Write more on this)

Anyway, I’ve been very glad that I didn’t say “no” when the staff invited to join the dinner. Hmmm, though, for a couple of times, I doubted if I could attend because I didn’t have a ride from my  village to venue which was at the opposite village too, and it is quite far from the town too, because my churchmates who have ride, they were busy. But at the end, I finally decided to attend the dinner in spite I didn’t have a ride.

I was really thankful to God that I didn’t harden my mind of not going to the dinner because I was so blessed from the start of the program until the end.
A posed with one of the CEF staff (wearing blue dress) with my friend Myrna who visited her family and able to meet me too.
